These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Axolog app ("Axolog", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Axolog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not medical advice

Axolog is a personal tracking journal for skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis and topical steroid withdrawal (TSW). It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not provide medical advice. Severity scores are patient-oriented self-assessments (PO-SCORAD / POEM style) for your own record-keeping. Always consult a qualified clinician about your skin, symptoms, medications and treatment decisions. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the app.

Your account and data

Axolog requires no account. Your logs, photos and settings are stored locally on your device, and — only if you turn on iCloud sync — in your own private iCloud. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record and for keeping your device and iCloud account secure. You may export or delete your data at any time (Settings → Export data; delete a profile or the app to remove local data).

Acceptable use

Axolog is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and to use it only for lawful purposes and your own (or your dependent's / child's) skin tracking.

Axolog Plus subscriptions

Axolog is free to use, including unlimited daily logging, per-area photos, the timeline, routine reminders and data export. Axolog Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks trigger insights, the full multi-page Derm Report pack, and additional family profiles.

• Plans: Yearly at US$29.99/year (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) or Monthly at US$4.99/month. Prices in other regions are set by the App Store and may vary.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Free trial: Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial.
• Manage or cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) after purchase.
• One Axolog Plus subscription unlocks Plus for every profile on the device.

Purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies to your use of the app.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Axolog is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any health outcome, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
