Axolog is built local-first, on purpose. The short version: there is no account, and your logs and photos live on your device.
What Axolog stores
- On your device only: your profiles, daily check-ins (severity, itch, body-map zones, notes), photos, treatments, routines and triggers.
- Location: if you allow it, Axolog reads your location once a day to attach local weather, humidity, UV and pollen to your log. Your coordinates are used for that request and are not stored or shared with us.
- No account: Axolog does not ask you to sign up, and does not collect your name, email or contacts.
Photos
Photos are saved in the app's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us or any third party. If you turn on iCloud sync, a copy is backed up to your own private iCloud so your photos return after a reinstall or on your other devices — it never touches our servers.
iCloud sync
iCloud sync is off by default. If you turn it on, an encrypted copy of your data and photos syncs through your own private iCloud account — we never see it, and it uses your iCloud storage. Turn it off any time.
Weather & pollen
Weather and air-quality data come from the free Open-Meteo API. Your approximate location is sent to Open-Meteo to return the forecast; see their privacy terms at open-meteo.com.
Purchases
Axolog Plus is an in-app subscription processed by the App Store. Purchase validation uses RevenueCat; no health data is shared with it.
Your control
- Export everything at any time as CSV, JSON or PDF (Settings → Export data).
- Delete a profile or the app to remove its data from your device.
- Revoke location or notification permission any time in iOS Settings.
