EczemaWise is shutting down. Here's your alternative.
An honest migration guide
If you've relied on the National Eczema Association's EczemaWise to log flares and prep for derm visits, you've probably seen the notices: the app is being retired and sign-ups have closed. Don't lose your history — here's what to do.
1. Export your data first
Before the service winds down, open EczemaWise and export or screenshot anything you want to keep — your severity history, photos, and any notes. Save them somewhere you control (Files, Photos, email to yourself).
2. What to look for in a replacement
- Works without an account — no login walls or server outages between you and your log.
- Fast logging — under 30 seconds, or you'll stop doing it.
- A real photo timeline — same-angle shots you can compare, not a camera-roll mess.
- Insight, not just charts — plain-language triggers you can take to your dermatologist.
- Multiple profiles — if you log for a child and yourself.
- Privacy you can verify — photos that stay on your device.
3. Why we built Axolog
Axolog is a private, local-first eczema & skin diary designed around exactly those needs — including the ones EczemaWise couldn't cover, like multi-profile family tracking, auto weather/pollen context, and a TSW mode. No account, photos on-device, and a one-tap PDF your derm will actually read.
